OpenCost is a vendor-neutral open source project for measuring and allocating Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure costs in real time. It runs inside your cluster, exposes cost data through an API, integrates naturally with Prometheus and Grafana, and gives teams a clean foundation for namespace, workload, service, and label-based cost reporting.
